Making Much of Christ: August 2006
http://juliabickley.blogspot.com/2006_08_01_archive.html
Making Much of Christ. A blog dedicated to a biblical worldview. Tuesday, August 29, 2006. It is in this context that we may see 2 truths about God in the beginning of the prayer:. 1) God is paternal. It begins with the two words "Our Father." The focus of all prayer is to be directed to the God of the Universe, who is also your or my Father if we are in Christ. Our prayers should begin with a God-focused intention! Making Much of Christ: February 2007
http://juliabickley.blogspot.com/2007_02_01_archive.html
Making Much of Christ. A blog dedicated to a biblical worldview. Thursday, February 15, 2007. Notice three things about this Scripture:. Christ offered something for you (vs.12). He offered Himself as a sacrifice for your sins. In Leviticus, it was animals that were offered. Jesus, God in human form, offered his literal body as your sacrifice. Christ sat down (vs.12b). The other priests had to continually and constantly offer animal sacrifices. What Jesus did on the cross was final. The Way of the Master.

Making Much of Christ: June 2006
http://juliabickley.blogspot.com/2006_06_01_archive.html
Making Much of Christ. A blog dedicated to a biblical worldview. Friday, June 30, 2006. Hebrews 13:2 notes the second virtue to be found within the life of the Christian. It states, Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels. The phrasing in the first part reminds me that sometimes this is what we forget to do. Yet the author of Hebrews encourages them in essence saying, be nice to everyone anyway! Posted by Julia @ 12:02 PM. Monday, June 26, 2006.
