I started a new job this Fall, after being laid off, late last year. I watch 2 children in the neighborhood, and it has been really good for Jacob. Wednesday, June 29, 2011. I just now realized that this is not the picture I. Took for my Before. Picture, but you get the jest of the idea.lol. I picked up this old wood desk for free off of KLS. My brother helped me drive to Mapleton to load it. That sucker is heavy! I started out by taking the old handles off, cleaning, and giving it a light sanding. Tuesday, September 04, 2012. That's an apt description for the past 6 months. Lot's of changes here. I know some of you follow me on Facebook, and see my posts from time to time. In a nutshell, Derek has changed jobs, and we now live in South Central, South Dakota. We live in a tiny town of 1500 people. Yes, I said 1500. Sunday, January 01, 2012. How did I spend my New Year's Eve? In bed with a migraine. Thanks to a heavy dosage of drugs, I slept right on through the dropping of the ball, the neighbors fireworks, and loud music. Guess I didnt miss much. Did I tell you my sweet husband finally did the tiling job in the kitchen? Here is the before. Here is the after. So glad he is handy! Thursday, July 28, 2011. My Kate turned 7 this week! Seems like yesterday, I held this tiny, colicky, infant in my arms.she is so much more pleasant now, let me tell you! We had a small family party in the backyard, complete with a slip-n-slide and kiddie pool. We filled over 100 water ballons up, and bombed each other. We also had about 13 water guns, and chased/tried to soak each other. Apparently, I got some really bad water guns.lol. Tuesday, July 12, 2011. Where the heck does it rain on the 4th?

Tuesday, March 27, 2012. As many of you know, my weight has been a yo-yo through the years. Did it interrupt my life? Most certainly. Not being able to travel, missing days of work, making plans with friends, and having to cancel. It was just SO frustrating.
