Simon Park is located in the heart of downtown Conway, one block south of Toad Suck Square. To get there, you take Exit 127 then turn west towards downtown. This is Oak Street. Front Street is the last street before the railroad tracks. As soon as you pass Walgreens, start looking for a parking place. You can either park on the street or in some of the empty parking lots around downtown. Make your way to Front Street, turn left, and you can’t miss Simon Park. Pictures from the March 12, 2016 Race.

A quality and competitive Arkansas RRCA championship two-mile race/walk. A separate one-mile competitive or fun event for runners/walkers with leashed pets. And a “Paws” best costume contest for all pets. Chase Race and Paws promotes and raises funds for abandoned pets and research for adolescents with traumatic brain injury. The Chase Race began in 2006 as a way for Don and Cheryl Potter to honor their thirteen-year-old son who suffered a traumatic brain injury and died in 2005. He loved running and animals, and Chase Race is a way of remembering him by combining his passions. The 2013 Chase Race has a new course that will start and finish in downtown Conway at Simon Park. The course will still be flat and fast for the runners and like a walk/run in the park for your pets.
