almost sustainable kitchen: Fast, easy summer dinner.
http://kelleyblogsbaby.blogspot.com/2009/09/fast-easy-summer-dinner.html
Sunday, September 13, 2009. Fast, easy summer dinner. This can be prepared in ten minutes without practiced choreography. It helps if your greens are already clean and dry. You'll hit all your major food groups and macronutrients - not bad if you're like us, and just making enough time to eat (and watch an episode of Arrested Development) before you're on to the next thing. 1 Wash and dry a bunch of arugula. 2 Heat a pan for eggs. 3 Halve some cherry tomatoes. 4 Toast up some bread. 5 Fry up some eggs.

Thursday, November 27, 2008. I'll just run down the short list of what i'm thankful for this year. or this morning. An awesome husband who, among other things, makes me coffee every morning. it's good today, babe. Not having to cook today. Having the opportunity to buy organic, fresh foods. Dry november days in the willamette valley. There was still a lit...
almost sustainable kitchen: July 2011
http://kelleyblogsbaby.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 24, 2011. As you may have guessed from the lack of posts for the last two years, I've moved on from the Almost Sustainable Kitchen. I didn't have much time to cook, and living in Portland makes blogging about sustainability seem almost redundant. We have composting in our office. I don't have much to say about it anymore. However, I missed blogging, so I made a brand new shiny roller derby blog called little anecdote. You can also follow me @littleanecdote because I still like me some food.
almost sustainable kitchen: Let's try this again
http://kelleyblogsbaby.blogspot.com/2009/09/lets-try-this-again.html
Wednesday, September 2, 2009. Let's try this again. You guys missed so much food while I wasn't blogging! Sorry about that. Life is for the living, and this girl's been a little busy. Or, maybe just.kind of standing around. But I've kept thinking that life is just too good not to share with you all. I mean, I had a tomato basil galette with a ciabatta roll for lunch, and we're having Two Tarts. And I got to have BOTH. I mean, People! Nice to see you again. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Laquo; Pesto Recipe. What Got Me Really Excited at My Market Today ». A few months ago I was having drinks at a friend’s house up by the Place des Fêtes, outdoors on their patio, and I noticed something tucked away in the corner. 8220;What’s what? Over there…in the corner. Is that what I think it is? 8220;Oh, yeah, that. We put it in about fifteen years ago, but we never use it.”. And that, ladies and gentleman, is how I learned that my friends actually had—get this, a grill! He calls for the cook to oil...

Thursday, September 18, 2008. These "100" lists are going all around the blogs these days. and hey, i'm unemployed, so why not indulge myself for a moment? These are all things one certain person thought that everyone (except vegans, in some cases) should eat in one's lifetime. bold the items you're eaten. here we go! 1 Real macaroni and cheese, made from scratch and baked. 3 Freshly baked bread, straight from the oven (preferably with homemade strawberry jam) -probably not with jam, but otherwise, sure!

Cook, Craft, Repeat
Cook, Craft, Repeat. Sometimes I cook food and make stuff. And when I'm really feeling productive, I blog about it. Thursday, January 20, 2011. Ikea Hack: Bedside Pocket. When we moved into our apartment this year, we noticed that our new bedroom was a bit smaller than our old one. Seventy-five percent of the room is taken up by our giant bed, so it can get a little cramped. IKEA stuff is so cheap and simple, it makes it easy for hacking into other off-the-label uses. We recently got the Flort. Mint and ...

One of the challenges I have set myself was to write a blog consistently over the year and see if i can get 1000 followers by 2015. So here goes, its just a matter of waiting to find out, but we have twelve fun filled months to get through before we know. The blog will be a bit of my life, favorite things and shares from the great blogs already out in the ether that inspire me everyday.
