My theory is that it's best to stick with the materials and methods proven safe. Anyhoodles, probably the major source of aluminum absorption for most of us in the West is our deodorant.

Make "Faux-sotto": saute onions in olive oil, deglaze with white wine. Add chicken stock and leftover rice. Stir like crazy until rice looks creamy. Add anything else you like in your risotto - peas, mushrooms, cheese, greens, herbs, crispy bacon, cream, etc. Salt and pepper to taste. Serve. Use it as a binder or filler in meatballs, meatloaf, fish croquettes, etc.

August 28, 2011. Take some, we've got plenty. Because of my work schedule this year, I mainly planted things and then came in months later and harvested. Dear hubby did most of the work in between. It has been a bit of a rough year in the garden because of cool temperatures in the spring followed by way too much rain. Vodka is not native to Italy, and Wikipedia. Here’s our version:. 2 cups roasted tomato sauce. 1/4 pound pancetta, sliced thin. 1 cup heavy cream. 3/4 cup grated Parmigiano Reggiano cheese. 4 cloves garlic, sliced thin. 3 tablespoons olive oil. 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes. 1 tablespoon fresh minced parsley.
