This weeks menu plan | A Place For Everything
https://tootsie.wordpress.com/2009/01/03/this-weeks-menu-plan
A Place For Everything. Removing the clutter…forever. This weeks menu plan. For the last couple of weeks, I’ve made Beef stroganof (the cheat’s way) and it’s gone down a treat, especially with Chef who loves fillet steak. The children are just as fussy. If it’s not pasta carbonara tinned macaroni cheese or spaghetti bolognese, I’m stumped. So, today, I’m scouring the recipe sites for a totally new menu, one I can use regularly. This looks like a good recipe for a start…. Cheesy One-Pot Chicken Cacciatore.

Wednesday, February 07, 2007. Indian inspired Turkey Burgers w/ Sweet and Baked Potato Fries and Yoghurt Dipping Sauce. Turkey burgers with oven fried potatoes and yoghurt sauce. Well that is a very long title :). The inspiration for the dipping sauce came from Rachael Ray. I was once watching an episode in which she made the sauce for some potato fries. I did make it with different spices so it tied well with the burger. 1 each baking potato and sweet potato. 1 tsp chili powder. 1 tsp coriander powder.

Tuesday, October 24, 2006. Murukulu - Deepavali Treat. Murukulu - all ready to be gobbleed up. Murukku is a Deepavali tradition in our house. My mom would make these a day or two before the festival but preperations for this dish would start atleast 3-4 days ahead of the actual murukku making day because everything was made from scratch i.e. the flours, I mean. 4 cups Rice flour. 3/4 cup Urad dal flour. 1/4 White Sesame seeds. 3 tablespoons Cumin seeds. 1 tablespoons Ajwain seeds. Oil for deep frying.
