A taste of the Cookey family through some of the crumbs of our lives. Monday, June 29, 2009. Here are some 2 month photos like I had promised in the last post. The first one is one that Michael took on Saturday when she actually turned 2 months, and the two with the sign are ones I took today (exactly 9 weeks). It was a nice hot, sunny day, and we spent the afternoon with some of our new friends at the local pool (which was sooo nice). Michaela started out like a true German girl, eating a pretzel on the blanket. She hadn't been to a pool since she was 3 months old (and it was her nap time when we arrived), so it took her a little while to warm up. First she sat at the side, then got her feet wet. Wednesday, April 1, 2009. Yes I finished another pair of socks. This pattern from the spring Knitty 09 called Cirque. I made them with Bernat Sox yarn. I didn't like the way the toe was in the pattern, so I just grafted the toe closed. The pattern which I followed I think that the sock looked to be square, so I undid and redid the toe.
