I then add in the flour, salt, and yeast, stir, cover with cling wrap, and place it in a warm spot for an hour or so. I then place it in the fridge overnight. The poolish ratios I use are below:. 15 Cups Warm Water 100F. 1 TB of Sugar. 2 Cups All Purpose Flour. Pour on Flour and Pull Away from Sides. 1/2 Onion - Diced. 1/2 Green Pepper - Diced. 2 Cloves of Garlic - Diced.

With the four halves I tried out four flavors: Regular with salt and pepper, Coffee, BBQ rub, and maple brown sugar. I followed the same method I used in my previous Homemade Bacon. Base Cure - Split into 4 parts, 1 for Regular. 1 TB Pink Curing Salt. 1 Cup Kosher Salt. 1/2 TB Chili Powder. 1/2 TB Garlic Powder. 2 TB Brown Sugar.

Saturday, May 5, 2012. 1 pkg orzo pasta ½ tsp dried basil. 1 pkg (6oz) baby spinach, chopped ¼ tsp white pepper. 190; c. feta cheese ¼ c pine nuts. 190; c. chopped red onion. 190; c balsamic vinaigrette. Cook orzo according to directions. Drain. Rinse with cold water. In large bowl combine spinach, cheese, onion and orzo. In smaller bowl combine vinaigrette, basil and pepper. Mix. Pour over salad.
