Monday, October 10, 2016. Aunt Stephanie asked for lemon bars recipe I made for Kari and Kirsten's baby shower. I thought I'd post it on here in case anyone else wants it. 1 1/2 cups flour. 1 1/2 cups sugar. 1/2 tsp. salt. 1 cup butter, room temperature. 2 Tbsp. lemon juice. 2 tsp lemon zest. Combine flour, sugar, and salt in a large bowl. Mix in the softened butter. In another bowl, whisk the eggs with the lemon juice and zest. Pour into the bowl with the other ingredients and mix well. Monday, October 28, 2013. 1 box yellow cake mix. 1 can (15 oz) pumpkin puree. 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk. 1 1/2 cups sugar. 1/2 tsp. salt. 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans (the original recipe called for 1/2 cup). 1 cup butter, melted. When we made this recipe we decreased the amount of pumpkin.only used about 2/3's of the can. The pumpkin wasn't overpowering! We also cut the baking time to 45-50 minutes. as we used a darker pan. Luckily we had family coming to visit so I was allowed to stay an extra week and see all the sights. It was awesome! Monday, April 27, 2009. We've made it through to May! Gavin and I are getting by thanks to my mom's help. She has been so amazing and does so much to make things easier for us. School is going by so fast! There are lots of projects coming up before final exams and then a few weeks of clinicals until I'm free to fly out and see my honey. Riley might be flying home for Gavin's birthday (and mine) in a few weeks if things work out, so everybody keep your fingers crossed for me! Some should be coming soon!
