Thursday, September 29, 2011. It is an old tradition. In Urugauy to eat ñoquis on the 29th of every month. Since today is the 29th my mother in law and I made some. Warning: Time consuming. On average you will need two regular potatos per person. Boil with skin on so the potatos dont get too mushy. Boil till tender. Remove skins with a fork. Put potatos through a potato ricer. If you dont have one of the gadgets you can just mush them with a fork. NO LUMPS! This is 5 very large potatos. Posted by Sam Jo.
