Tuesday, 19 April 2011. Mushrooms- 200grms cleaned and chopped. Ginger-Garlic paste- 1 tspn. Garam masala- 1 tspn. Geera and dhaniya powder- ½ tspn each. Red chilli powder- ½ to 1 tspn. Turmeric- ¼ tspn. Oil – 3 tbspn. Cumin and mustard seeds- 1 tspn. Heat oil in a pan. Add Cumin and mustard seeds, let them splutter. Add ginger-garlic paste. Then add onion. Tuesday, 14 June 2011. Palak Rice or Spinach Rice. Spinach is very good for health. especially for kids. so you can make this recipe and pack for lunch. they will like it. Rice – 1 cup. Spinach or Palak – 1 cup. Ginger-Garlic paste- 1 tspn. Garam masala- 1 1/2 tspn. Red chilli powder or green chilli- ½ to 1 tspn. Oil – 3 tbspn. Cumin and mustard seeds- 1 tspn. Wash the rice and soak them for half an hour. And cook the rice with 2-3 cups of water and some salt. Keep it aside so that it is cool.

Roast the ground nuts and let them cool down. Remove the skin off by rubbing with something flat. Put all the ingredients together in a mixer jar and grind it till fine powder. Tuesday, 14 June 2011. Cooked rice- 1 cup. Curd or yogurt- 1/2 cup. Curry leaves and coriander. Geera and mustard seeds- 1/2 tspn each. Take hot cooked rice in a mixing bowl. Put the milk and mix it nicley and keep it aside to cool down. Heat oil in a small vessel. Add geera and mustard seeds and allow them to splutter. Add Curry leaves and take off the heat. Now add this to the milk rice mixture. Add salt and curd or yogurt. Mix well and taste it. put more salt and curd if required. Sesame seed snack bar.
