Cooking for Change – Demolishing Illness with Diet: July 2012

http://cookingforchange.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html

Cooking for Change – Demolishing Illness with Diet. Wednesday, July 25, 2012. This blog post is going to be a shorter one, as I’m on holidays. But I’ll be back and at the longer posts next week! The lovely thing about chilli is that there are so many different kinds and a variety of spices and ingredients you can experiment with. When I was a kid, nothing was better than a hot homemade bowl of chilli. Chipotle and Chocolate Chilli (try saying that 5X over) is my absolute favourite. 2 tbsp olive oil.

http://cookingforchange.blogspot.com/2012/06/i-dont-know-about-you-but-i-like-finger.html

Cooking for Change – Demolishing Illness with Diet. Friday, June 15, 2012. I don't know about you, but I like finger foods. Do these things really go together? The answer is yes, yes they do. Scenario 1: You're having the guys over to watch the football game or the girls over for some appetizers and wine (or to watch the football game) and you can't/don't eat gluten so you're not exactly sure what you can make that everyone else will like. BAM - here we are. Coconut Chicken Bites.

Cooking for Change – Demolishing Illness with Diet: September 2012

http://cookingforchange.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html

Cooking for Change – Demolishing Illness with Diet. Wednesday, September 26, 2012. I began writing as a hobby in high school and have continued, mostly because it’s soothing and partly because I suck at talking. I write because when I speak, I stutter and my words don’t seem to come out properly or the way I want them to. When I write, my words are smooth and my sentences connect. I am no longer inept. Just me and a keyboard, or a pen and a notebook. No blonde hair and no green eyes. Enter the next recipe.

Cooking for Change – Demolishing Illness with Diet: Bulk Barn & Gluten-free Baking

http://cookingforchange.blogspot.com/2012/06/bulk-barn-gluten-free-baking.html

Cooking for Change – Demolishing Illness with Diet. Sunday, June 10, 2012. Bulk Barn and Gluten-free Baking. Was the first thing I said out loud when I first realized I could no longer have bread. OH EM GEE! But wait, what did I know about gluten? Ummwell.absolutely nothing. So, after googling it for awhile, I found a definition. Gluten: A protein consisting of a mixture of glutelin and gliadin, present in cereal grains, esp wheat. That doesn't seem too bad, right? 1) Gluten causes gut inflammation.

Baking my way through school. 8211; Two packets of double stuffed oreos. 8211; One packet of cookie dough (Use the store bought stuff, it makes a better base than homemade cookie dough). 8211; One packet of brpwnie mix (again, use the store bought one, it makes a fudgier, moister layer). 1 Preheat the oven to 170 degrees celsius. Cooking For Change | Food! Pink Girly Things! Snark!
