It can be eaten in sandwiches, salads or with crudites. An absolute staple for vegetarians. I have not yet met a person who does not like it. 400g cooked chick pea (or 220g dried if you are cooking them in the pressure pan). Juice of 2 lemons. Salt and a pinch of cayenne pepper. Welcome to my cooking blog! Friday, 25 January 2013. Great recipe to make use of spare cooking apples that are not quite enough to make a crumble or an apple pie. It tastes even better in the following day and it leaves a wonderful aroma of sweet earthy spices in the kitchen. A true feast to the senses. 2 cooking apples, peeled, cored and chopped. 225 plain flour (wholemeal is best). 175g light muscovado sugar. 125 margerine or butter. 1 tsp mixed spice. 2 tsp baking powder. Add one egg at a time.

Gluten-free savoury corn cake. 3 tsps of baking powder. 300ml of almond or koko dairy free milk. 4 tbsps of oil. 300g of grated carrots. 1 tsp of fennel seeds. Tiny little pinch of chilli (treat for pitta doshas:-). Sunflower and pumpkin seeds. How I do it:. It goes very well with. Beet's Bloody Mary Soup. 1 tbsp of coconut oil (or any other oil you like). 4 celery stalks chopped. 250g raw or cooked grated beets. A squeeze of lemon.

Welcome to my cooking blog! Monday, 10 September 2012. Raspberry and Almond Cake. This cake is always a success and amazingly simple to make. Every time I am in the village and happen to see fresh raspberries, this is the one recipe that comes to my mind. 2 tbsp flaked almonds. Pre-heat oven at 180oC. Mix the eggs, yoghurt, oil and sugar. Add the flour, ground almonds. Fold the raspberries in. Spread in a 20cm baking tin and sprinkle with flaked almonds. Bake for 35 minutes. Chocolate and Beetroot cake.
