I laid my baby girl down in her little crib, eyes still wide open and I got in my bed beside her. Was it just gas? I laid there and wondered. But then she did it again only seconds later. Our eyes locked and she smiled. It must have been intentional. At least that is what I am telling myself. Don't argue with me.

God was glorified, my sister and new brother were united in the covenant of marriage, and we got to celebrate it all with precious family and friends! I had the privilege of escorting the bride to the wedding venue:) (oh and Eden too). We have a picture of me like this on my wedding day almost 6 years ago! I'll try to find it and post it later:). I think this may be the only picture I got of them in their matching onesies elli helped me pick out before Eden was born! Table time with two girls. So weird but so good. Cute "E" hats from the Hidy's! The table is a great place for some sister snuggles. Elli doesn't want to be far from her baby sister. Elli just loves to come over and say hi and I love you to Eden. The owl and the fox.

8216;Leaf’ an Imprint 3 Column. Saturday, February 2, 2013. Elli's first month of life was a whirlwind for her Mommy and Daddy! But we all survived! Don't get me wrong, it was awesome, but it was also crazy! I am going to try and keep record of a few things each month to track her growth/development! That is just how my brain works:). Elli slept great through the day, night was a little harder for her to stay asleep :). She began to find her tongue. Elli is a very curious little girl! Now for the pictures.

8216;Leaf’ an Imprint 3 Column. Saturday, May 4, 2013. 3-4 naps and bedtime around 9ish. We are working on moving bedtime up:). She eats at 7:30am, 10:30am, 1:30pm, 4:30pm, and 7:30pm. Gripe Water when her tummy hurts. Elli has discovered kicking and splashing in the tub. Also kicking in general, anytime and anywhere! She rolled over to the right side (back to tummy) on March 5th. Matt and I both saw it happen. We gave each other high fives! On March 23rd she passed an object from one had to the other!

8216;Leaf’ an Imprint 3 Column. Sunday, March 24, 2013. She sleeps through the night! Eats about every 3-4 hours. She sucks and chews on them all the time! Especially her pointer and middle fingers. Usually the left hand, but either will do. She loves to "stand" (put weight on her legs/feet) and look all around! Bobble Head-because of how her head (whole body really) bobble when she tries to "stand" :). I love it when she puts her hand(s) on our faces! It is so so precious! I love this sweet little dress!

January 10, 2014. 900g (2 lb) self-raising four. 1 (325ml) can lemonade or Sprite. Prep:10min Cook:15min Ready in:25min. Preheat oven to 220 degrees C / gas mark 7. Sift flour and salt into a large mixing bowl. Stir in wet ingredients and mix into a dough. Tip out onto a well-floured surface and cut out scones with a 6cm fluted edge pastry cutter. Bake for 15 – 20 minutes until they are golden on top. Cool on a wire rack. Serve warm with jam and whipped cream. January 10, 2014. 115g dark brown soft sugar.

Feeding a crowd is easy with a whole cut up chicken. My cousin wanted to try a lemon chicken recipe she found. We didn't have all of the ingredients, so ended up with this new gem. Baked or grilled chicken is a summer staple, I think. It's easy to prepare and light/lean. For this recipe we used fresh lemon juice, garlic, pepper and olive oil. BAKED LEMON and GARLIC CHICKEN. 1 package cut up chicken. 1 lemon juiced (a little over 1/4 c). 2 tsp lemon zest. 2 tsp dried oregano. 3 garlic cloves, sliced thick.
