Cooking Matters host sites are community-based organizations that serve low-income individuals who are interested in, and can benefit from, attending nutrition-based cooking classes. Cooking Matters at the Store offers cooking courses to low-income families. Courses typically include a field trip to the grocery store, which always proves to be an educational experience for our participants. Cooking Matters partners with agencies and community organizations that share a similar mission.

Cooking Matters at the Store serves low-income families across the country in our local grocery stores. These tours typically include a field trip to the grocery store, which always proves to be eye-opening for our participants. Tours can be led in any community, anywhere people shop for food.
