Roast Hen with Paprika, Apricot, and Mustard | Four 'n' Twenty Blackbirds
https://fourntwentyblackbirds.wordpress.com/2013/05/21/roast-hen-with-paprika-apricot-and-mustard
Scavenging dinner in an apartment kitchen. Four 'n' Twenty Blackbirds. Kosher as a corvid gets. Laquo; Beet Pot Pie. Roast Hen with Paprika, Apricot, and Mustard. It’s been a long time since I’ve roasted a Cornish Hen. There area few reasons for this: other meat, even boneless breast-and-rib meat, tends to be a bit cheaper by weight, pan-searing and smoking are quicker than roasting, and boneless meat is a lot more convenient for cutting up bite-sized and adding to a pasta dish or stir fry. Preheat the o...

Scavenging dinner in an apartment kitchen. Four 'n' Twenty Blackbirds. Kosher as a corvid gets. A kitchen scavenger and general force of chaos and destruction which somehow leads, in the end, to dinner. Homepage: https:/ fourntwentyblackbirds.wordpress.com. Roast Hen with Paprika, Apricot, and Mustard. On May 21, 2013. Too much time in a mass-producing kitchen only makes this worse. You try to get excited about cooking Cajun spiced fish after baking 1066 of them. I regret nothing. This is amazing. Prehea...

Amitie Girl: March 2012
http://amitiegirl.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
It's here - finally! This fabric has entered my mind more than once since seeing it in Houston. Designed by David Butler this fabric range is very cool. The mix of cool colours and geometric prints makes this quite a masculine range, but with hints of hand drawn patterns and soft nature like themes it also has a soft edge. 1850 per meter makes them even prettier! I will try and have these on the web by the end of the week, but for now I have to get the next round of block of the months packaged. We will ...

Beet Pot Pie | Four 'n' Twenty Blackbirds

Scavenging dinner in an apartment kitchen. Four 'n' Twenty Blackbirds. Kosher as a corvid gets. Laquo; Broiled Tilapia with Cajun Boiled Potatoes. Roast Hen with Paprika, Apricot, and Mustard. I think I was overexposed to certain things as a child. Things like ponies and precious little heart-shaped objects and anything pink. I hate pink. Pink is for little girls and Valentine’s Day cards and Pepto Bismol commercials. It is very rarely allowed to invade my home. This definitely makes the cut. Pulse brief...

Amitie Girl: August 2012
http://amitiegirl.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Busy day here today. Stash Club has been cut, folded, collated, packed, stamped and will be in the post box tonight. We will do this to our BOMs tomorrow. Today I was busy finishing patterns for them which included taking a photo of the Aunts Quilt. It was windy here in Melbourne today. Had to use our bodies to hold the quilt to the wall to make sure it staid in one place. I snapped this picture of the Boss Lady holding the quilt. Can you tell she hates having her photo taken? I love you, Mum! Available ...

IN STORE AND ONLINE NOW AT WWW.AMITIE.COM.AU. So, I haven't given up on writing blogs. It's been a crazy, busy start to 2013 and blog posts tend to fall to the bottom of the always growing pile. My time away was good. Abu Dhabi is best described as 'beautiful chaos'. I don't have much time so instead of words I will post some photos (these are just Instagram. I have 750 on the DSLR but I haven't edited or anything and now that my laptop is broken I don't know when I will). THE B OSS LADY! JAK and JIL BLOG.

A Budgie full of Millet. Tuesday, April 17, 2012. The softest fluffiest 100% Whole Wheat Bread you will ever eat! Soft and Fluffy 100% Whole Wheat Rolls. Yes, its possible. My moms boyfriends doctor has informed him that he has to switch to whole wheat breads/pastas etc. I had a bag of whole wheat flour lying around. Ive been wanting to try my hand at making a whole wheat bread, so this seemed like the perfect excuse to try making one! I decided to use the bread recipe I used for the April Daring Cooks C...

Dancing with a Spatula Wand: July 2012
http://dancingspatulawand.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 30, 2012. In my quest to read every ecological book the Madison Public Libarary system can throw at me, I've started up reading, Not Buying It: My year without shopping. The estrogen jungle that is Urban Outfitters and hordes of sorority girls clamoring for thinning fabric. I used my zoom lens for this. Across the street seemed a safe distance. Have I ever met a "deep sea dandy"? Do I know anyone who would want to be one? Do I know what a dandy is? We're more refined around here. Che smiled ...
