Cooking with Altitude: Maple Pecan Oat Granola Bars

http://www.cookingwithaltitude.com/2012/10/maple-pecan-oat-granola-bars.html

Sunday, October 21, 2012. Maple Pecan Oat Granola Bars. Granola bars from the grocery store are expensive, sugary, and they usually don’t even taste that good. These are delicious, low in sugar and not that hard to make. Plus, if you have little kids they will love pressing, pressing, pressing them in the pan. Mine didn’t help (kind of like that old story: “Who will help me grind the flour? Roasting the nuts and coconut. Parchment helps lift from the pan. Ready for the lunchbox! 1 cup chopped pecans.

Sunday, October 21, 2012. Grill Roasted Brussels Sprouts. My sister and I love Brussels sprouts. They are a traditional Thanksgiving staple, too, but we’re glad for all of those people who’ve never tried them and say they don’t like them so we get them all to ourselves! Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Salt and fresh ground pepper. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Coconut Flour Snack Cake. Maple Pecan Oat Granola Bars. Super Easy Crock Pot Pork. Grill Roasted Brussels Sprouts. Crock Pot Beef Pasta Sauce.

Cooking with Altitude: Super Easy Crock Pot Pork

http://www.cookingwithaltitude.com/2012/10/super-easy-crock-pot-pork.html

Sunday, October 21, 2012. Super Easy Crock Pot Pork. This is Dave’s bachelor recipe. It kept him alive for over ten years from the time he left his mom’s amazing Italian cooking until he met me, and she trained me to replace her (and him) in the kitchen. We still make it because it’s delicious, cheap and super duper easy! Cooking the day away while you play! 5-6 lbs Pork Shoulder Country Style Boneless Ribs. 1 large can (29 oz) tomato sauce. 1 tsp salt ¼ tsp fresh ground pepper (to taste).

Cooking with Altitude

Friday, May 09, 2014. I graduated last night with my Bachelor of University Studies! Saturday, April 19, 2014. I will be graduating from college in two and a half weeks. I can't believe it's finally here. Four and a half years ago I was turning 40 and quite unhappy with my life. What had I done? Where was I going? I had a little mid-life crisis. This is when I decided I wanted to go back to college and figure out what I was going to be when I grew up. Nowwhat do I want to do when I grow up? We mostly com...

Aly in the Kitchen

Aly in the Kitchen. December 4, 2017. November 28, 2017. Aly in the Kitchen. I was in my kitchen, as usual, and tinkering around with different ways to make pumpkin pie. I’ve made the typical pumpkin pies that are served hot from the oven with freshly whipped cream. I’ve also made pumpkin pie, let it chill and had it as a cool dessert. Then i wondered how a pumpkin cream pie would turn out. Well, here’s the recipe below. All ingredients for pumpkin cream pie. 1) 35 oz vanilla pudding mix. 1 cup teff flour.

Cooking With Friends | Broadening My Palette

Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. A Look Back: The Final Entry for My Class. May 23, 2012. So it has been quite the semester for me. I managed to cook 9 meals over the course of this blog. Though it was far from my goal of 20, I would say I managed to have some fun while working on these entries while still getting my work done. This isn’t to say that it is any particular parties fault, it is simply something that I need to work in to planning for other projects. May 23, 2012. I persona...
