He also received special awards from Acadamie Culinaire de France and Culinarian’s Home Foundation. He competed in the American Culinary Gold Cup / Bocuse d’Or in 1992. After 12 years of teaching classes at the Lark Restaurant, Marcus took a teaching position in the Culinary Arts Department at Schoolcraft College and has been there for the past 9 years. At Schoolcraft College, he is teaching those who are looking to work in the culinary industry as well as those seeking to improve their skills through Continuing Education Classes.
