Cooking With My Food Storage: January 2015

http://www.cookingwithmyfoodstorage.com/2015_01_01_archive.html

About Me - Shelf Reliance. Where do I start? Sunday, January 4, 2015. Heather's Zuppa Toscana Meal in a Jar. I love to go out to eat. There I said it. I really do. I especially love the Olive Garden. I was talking about my love of the Olive Garden with my friend Amy and she told me that her husband refuses to eat there. His reason? 8220;I can eat pasta at home for a quarter of the price”. I got to thinking and he is right, but I still love to eat there. I think that sound heavenly. Yes you could use baco...

Cooking With My Food Storage: Shelf Reliance

http://www.cookingwithmyfoodstorage.com/p/shelf-reliance.html

About Me - Shelf Reliance. Where do I start? Why Did I become A Shelf Reliance Consultant? Because I am passionate about food storage and being prepared. This is the back of our home where most of the water came in. Where you see water is usually grass and flowers. You can see the sandbagged window, the water ended up going over the sandbags but they did help for a while. My cute daughter helping with the demolition after flood number 2. How has it worked for us. Because I wanted a little extra income.

About Me - Shelf Reliance. Where do I start? Where do I start? For those new to food storage and those that are looking to bulk up what they already have I recommend the Shelf Reliance Q. This is a free customizable program that helps you purchase food storage consistently. For my family building our food storage has been all about consistency. We have made a few large one time purchases but the majority of our food storage has been built up slowly over time, as we purchased a little each month. I would ...

Cooking With My Food Storage: Cheese Burger Buns

http://www.cookingwithmyfoodstorage.com/2012/06/cheese-burger-buns.html

About Me - Shelf Reliance. Where do I start? Monday, June 25, 2012. In the summer I am always in need of hamburger buns. We eat a lot of sandwiches in the summer (pulled pork, veggie burgers, cheese burgers) and for some reason my kids just do not like to eat them on regular bread, they demand buns. In years past I have hesitated to make my own. But now that I have three kids, I almost always would rather make my own then drag three kids to the market. I don't know but I'm glad I made it. 1) Combine all ...

Feidler Family: Fast forward... like, a lot.

http://feidlerfun.blogspot.com/2015/05/fast-forward-like-lot.html

Thursday, May 28, 2015. Fast forward. like, a lot. Looks like we lost a whole two years there, doesn't it? On the contrary, I blogged our correspondence between us and our Elder Feidler during his entire mission. We have the best of both world in www.grahamsbest2years.blogspot.com. On a side note, GRAHAM IS BACK! Life does not slow down for anyone! We have had a great year so far. Yes, I am already a bit behind in my blogging. But I'll get there! Feidler Family: Foot surgery

http://feidlerfun.blogspot.com/2014/03/foot-surgery.html

Thursday, March 6, 2014. What was I thinking, having surgery on my foot with a 4 month old at home? And no one mentioned that my husband would forever make fun of the crazy things I said and did under the influence of a sedative. Just over 6 months later and the swelling is gone but the pain persists. I have very limited range of motion in my big toe and I think I will forever be wearing tennis shoes. Gone are the days of wearing cute boots or flip flops! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Feidler Family: Elder Feidler

http://feidlerfun.blogspot.com/2013/10/elder-feider.html

Thursday, October 3, 2013. We get to hear from Graham every Monday, unless it's a holiday and the library is closed. He is doing so well. Seems to be suffering from allergies every now and again and swears he will never live anywhere with so many trees. Everything is so new to him; he lives in a trailer and takes care of chickens. :-) Graham doesn't even like eggs! You can read about his happenings at www.grahamsbest2years.blogspot.com. We beg him to send us pictures more often! We love our missionary!

Feidler Family: Calling London

http://feidlerfun.blogspot.com/2013/10/calling-london.html

Thursday, October 3, 2013. Mike served his LDS mission in Leeds, England. It was years ago but he still carries fond memories of that chapter in his life. He's drawn to the things of England such as their language, foods and landmarks and someday he will make his way back for a visit. Heaven knows he's tried many times but "life" just keeps getting in the way. I was worried about him for a while because he was complaining of his eyes twitching. Ha! Getting it up off it's side was another challenge so Mik...

Saraanndipity: Family History Fair and Keeping it Real

http://saraanndipity.blogspot.com/2014/11/family-history-fair-and-keeping-it-real.html

Welcome to our little spot where we share with family and friends (and perhaps even posterity) what is going on in our lives. Family History Fair and Keeping it Real. I don't happen to have an iphone, but it's an awesome app for those who do! And I certainly don't announce all my problems on facebook! I really don't think people want to hear about all my woes, plus it's none of their business. Some people like to share a lot, some people just a little. Okay, so here's me keeping it real:. Then he made a ...

Peacock Postings 2013: June 2014

http://peacockpostings.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html

Sunday, June 29, 2014. In March I went with my sister, Jana, to Las Vegas for a wild-n-crazy girls outing. AKA photography conference. It was fun to get away and spend time with Jana for 4 days, but truthfully, neither of us like Vegas all that much. Somehow my GPS had gotten rerouted to a Fiat dealership and NOT the temple. We were in fact in the complete opposite direction of where we intended. So we rerouted and found ourselves there eventually. It was worth the trip! I even won a free t-shirt during ...

Peacock Postings 2013: Anniversary Surprise

http://peacockpostings.blogspot.com/2014/11/anniversary-surprise.html

Monday, November 24, 2014. Tianna is our official holiday decorator and party enthusiast. She also still feels bad that our wedding anniversary last year fell on the same day of her tonsillectomy so our celebration was limited to breakfast at the hospital :). She is so incredibly sweet! That night we went had an early, pre-Les-Mis-rehearsal date to dinner at a local place in Santaquin, Brumby's (SO YUMMY) and then bowling. Luke beat me. But I still love him ;). It's been 9 spectacular years! The Adventur...

Wednesday, November 27, 2013. Happy Birthday Linaya Lou. Okay, don't be confused by the title. Her name IS Linaya Jean. Just for some reason Lou or Lou-Lou is her adopted nickname. Anyway, MISS LINAYA celebrated her 1st birthday on October 23rd. First, by eating one really giant pancake. She is the HAPPIEST child! Adelia gave her the spinny Minnie Mouse she got from Disneyland. (because it was her souvenir, she only gets to PARTLY give it to her sister). Our Primary is so amazing. and SO AMBITIOUS! I was...

Cooking With My Cat

Cooking With My Cat. December 23, 2013. Roasted Red Pepper and Goat Cheese Alfredo with Homemade Linguine. What a mouthful. When we refer to this at home, we just call it Red Pepper Alfredo. Anyway, the recipe for this Alfredo sauce is in one of those folders on my computer, as well as in the notebook in my kitchen. I make it a lot, because like all good, normal humans, I love goat cheese and I love pasta. And it doesn’t hurt that this has a way lower fat content than regular Alfredo sauces. 5 Toss cooke...

Cooking With My Inner Child. Thursday, February 25, 2016. How To Poach An Egg Julia Style. Ever wonder how to make a perfect poached egg without those clunky egg poaching pans? It's much easier to poach an egg in boiling water than it is to try to use a poaching pan. There is no greasing of the tins or cleaning of the egg tins. You simply bring at least 3 inches of water to a good steady boil and then turn the burner down to a simmer. Gently crack the shell ,. Open and let the egg drop. This is my finish...
