Tuesday, February 12, 2013. Read my review here. Since it's more like Chinese New Year, I thought I'd finally share what we did to ring in 2013. New Year's Eve, we headed to my parents’ house to par-tay with my siblings and their families. It was especially fun, since this is the first year in quite a few that Kevin hasn’t had to work, so we got to spend the whole night together. We had a blast playing games and sharing good food. Friday, December 28, 2012. I hope everyone had a good Christmas this year. I know we did. Here's a few pictures. Keeping to our Christmas Eve tradition, we had our Armitstead family dinner and opening of gifts. As you can see we made a giant mess. Abi and Savannah posed for a couple of pictures for me in their jammies. Those two are such hams! Santa did find his way to our house, and here's the proof. Wednesday, September 14, 2011. It's September and that means it's State Fair time. The last time we were at the State Fair was a couple of years ago, so we decided it would be fun for Abi to go again this year. Abi has a little apprehension when it comes to animals, especially bigger animals that aren't dogs or cats. I was hoping that she would have fun anyway. This goat kept trying to eat Abi's stroller. Biggest onion I've ever seen. This pumpkin weighed almost 1000 lbs! I'm growing these next year.

Sunday, June 24, 2012. Abi Goes to the Dentist. Last month, Abi went to her first dental appointment. Well, I can't actually say her "first" because technically she went once last year, but she fell asleep and wouldn't even sit in the chair, let alone allow the dentist look at her teeth. So, we'll call this visit her first. I decided to get my teeth cleaned first and have her watch, so she would know that everything would be okay. Then it was her turn. She was so good and I was so proud! Jake of the Web.

I think Tim kind of underestimates his ability because he doesn't really see himself as the responsible adult that he actually is.:) So Tim is going to be making A LOT more money which is really nice seeing as we would like to buy a house soon. Talk from many years ago many years later, I had to laugh to myself and thank my lucky stars I didn't marry someone who really believed I was the one and only person they were meant to be with. Because really, think about it? What if I died? What if THEY died? Would we be doomed for eternity to be alone or with someone who we know isn't our "soul mate"? How depressing would that be?
