Monday, August 17, 2009. 1 cup Bengal gram, (kala chana). 1 small Potato, boiled and mashed. 1 Onion, chopped. 1 tsp Cumin Seeds. 1 tbsp Dhania-Jeera Powder. 4 Green Chilli, chopped. 3 Garlic cloves, chopped. 1 tsp Red Chilli powder. 1 tsp Rajwadi Garam Masala. 1-1/2 tsp Chat masala. 1/2 cup Spinach, chopped. 1 Soak chana in water overnight. It is advisable to use hot water initially. 2 Wash chana well, and pressure cook until its cooked completely. Drain well after cook. Posted by R.Saujanya.

Thursday, January 29, 2009. 2 cups Whole Wheat Flour (atta). 2 cups Gram Flour (Beasn). 1 tsp Cumin Seeds (jeera). 2 tbsp Dry fenugreek leaves (kasoori methi). Red chili powder to taste. A pinch of turmeric powder. Mix Wheat flours gram flour, salt, chili powder, turmeric powder and mix well. Make powder of fenugreek leaves and mix it to the flour. Rub oil into the flour, slowly add water and make a soft dough and keep it covered with damp cloth for 30 minutes. Knead well again the dough and make balls.
