A Little of This

A Little of This. Mom to two boys and a hungry husband with a full-time job, I'm always looking for quick, yummy, and healthy dishes to feed us with. Tuesday, January 21, 2014. Tomorrow my biggest little man turns 5. What is that cheeseball saying again? The days are long but the years are quick? That's definitely been my experience. Step one, while the cupcakes are baking, assemble the minions. Our selections are rather slim here, so we used wintergreen Altoids and knock-off Twinkies. I'm not go...If yo...

A Little of This: February 2012

http://www.cookwithalittleofthis.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html

A Little of This. Mom to two boys and a hungry husband with a full-time job, I'm always looking for quick, yummy, and healthy dishes to feed us with. Monday, February 27, 2012. Another Pinterest recipe I was dying to try was this one. And some fancy chocolate for fireside S'mores. Not being a spawn of Betty Crocker, I had never even dreamed that marshmallows could be made (gasp) from home. Why this never occurred to me, I don't know, but anyway, fast forward to now and . ta-da! 1/2 cup cold water. Pour t...

A Little of This: Tomato Leek Tart, Part 2 (With Tofu)

http://www.cookwithalittleofthis.blogspot.com/2013/12/tomato-leek-tart-part-2-with-tofu.html

A Little of This. Mom to two boys and a hungry husband with a full-time job, I'm always looking for quick, yummy, and healthy dishes to feed us with. Wednesday, December 11, 2013. Tomato Leek Tart, Part 2 (With Tofu). I keep coming back to this recipe. So I modified the recipe. I also added a bit of protein in the form of tofu. Many of you will stop reading there. I promise, though, my tofu-loathing husband didn't know there was tofu in there until I told him. Try it, you may find you like it. Here we ar...

A Little of This. Mom to two boys and a hungry husband with a full-time job, I'm always looking for quick, yummy, and healthy dishes to feed us with. Friday, March 30, 2012. Kale chips have gone mainstream! So you know that kale, and its tasty little derivative, kale chips, have gone mainstream when you can buy these nifty little pre-cut and washed bags from even our little podunk grocery stores. This bag made two pans of kale chips. Which, according to Martha Stewart. I use Smitten Kitchen's. I love jam...

The Wells Family Blog: Cooling Down

http://thewellsfamilypage.blogspot.com/2012/09/its-finally-cooling-off-and-we-are.html

Sunday, September 16, 2012. It's finally cooling off and we are having lots more outside time. We are loving it! We ended the week yesterday with a special truck even they had in town. Sebastian finally saw how a cement truck works (he was asking me last week) and got to ride and operate a real excavator! Lowes had a station there were Sebastian built a little project. Julianna and him got to take home some real goggles. They were pretty excited. Posted by Jennifer Wells. Loved catching up with your blog!

The Wells Family Blog: Busy Busy

http://thewellsfamilypage.blogspot.com/2012/08/busy-busy-busy.html

Thursday, August 16, 2012. We've had a full week! Lots of good stuff going on. Last weekend Joe worked his butt off making our barn and garden area more comfortable. He added mulch inside the barn and along side the garden. It looks so nice and finished! The barn isn't dusty anymore and it's so much more inviting. I can't wait to hang some swings in there and add a picnic table. Obviously we don't have any plans to actually use it for housing any animals :). This was at the open house Monday. She does no...

The Wells Family Blog: June 2011

http://thewellsfamilypage.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html

Tuesday, June 21, 2011. California Trip - Part One. We just returned from a one week trip to California. Joe had a conference to attend, so we tagged along. The kids and I ended up staying in Dana Point, while Joe headed down south to San Diego. I will blog more about that trip when I get all my photos together. Each day we were there was filled to the brim with activities. We had so many people to see and catch up with. Although it was a lot of work, I'm so glad we made the trip. Posted by Jennifer Wells.

The Wells Family Blog: January 2012

http://thewellsfamilypage.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html

Wednesday, January 25, 2012. I really thought it would be much longer till I saw this day, but unfortunately it has come sooner than I would have liked. I am selling my entire cloth diaper stash. I had MAJOR ammonia issues with all my diapers. Julianna woke up crying and having ammonia burns on her bottom. As much as I loved cloth diapering I just couldn't do this to my baby. I've really enjoyed cloth diapering Sebastian and Julianna for as long as I did and am proud that I didn't give up easily. I recen...

The Wells Family Blog: May 2011

Saturday, May 21, 2011. We headed out to Wegmeyer Farms. Posted by Jennifer Wells. Saturday, May 14, 2011. Julianna 4 Months Old. Here's Julianna's official 4 month picture. She's already changed so much. The most obvious thing is that she's almost bald now. She's losing all her hair just like Sebastian did, except we ended up shaving all of Sebastian's by this time. He's a boy and could get a way with it. Julianna's bow is just barely holding on to her last few strands up there. Takes 3 long naps a day,.

The Wells Family Blog: December 2011

http://thewellsfamilypage.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html

Friday, December 16, 2011. Sebastian pretty much had a repeat of last year's Santa experience. The picture is worse than it actually was. He did warm up to Santa after the picture was taken and got to tell him what he and Julianna wanted for Christmas. Now he's asking if he gets to see Santa today. We will see him again at the library Tuesday so maybe it will go much better. Posted by Jennifer Wells. Monday, December 12, 2011. Meet our new cat Mouser! What a cute orange stripey face! The Wells Family Blog: Back On Track

http://thewellsfamilypage.blogspot.com/2012/08/back-on-track.html

Friday, August 24, 2012. We went for Julianna's follow up appointment to check her weight this week. After giving her one extra milk sippy a day and letting her eat more freely (walking around to eat after she eats at the table) she has gained over a pound and a half and grown 3/4 of an inch in six weeks! The Wells Family Blog: October 2011

http://thewellsfamilypage.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html

Thursday, October 27, 2011. We closed on our house two days ago. The house is all ours. We still aren't moved in yet though. We are all very excited. I can't believe it's all really happening. Since we have been here, we have been having lots of fun. There is so much fun stuff to do here! Here are some photos from the past few weeks to show what we've been up to. Our last stop on our road trip down here was Savannah, GA. This is such a beautiful city! Playing out in the yard. Posted by Jennifer Wells.
