Monday, September 29, 2008. Im really good at the "Hoochie Mama". My husband can talk to elk! And they actually talk back! A hoochie mama is a cow (girl elk) call that i used last night. Well it was the last day of archery last night, yahhhh! Most would think that i would be a happy girl! However, any of you that know hunting know that riffle. Hunting starts this weekend for buck! Sunday, March 6, 2011. Child dedications are a little unique. Parents write a prayer or blessing for their child and read it during the service. These prayers are then followed by the pastor or elder praying with the congregation, commiting themselves to aiding us in raising our children to follow the Lord. Today was Sofia's day! Thursday, March 17, 2011. It truly seems like just yesterday I was going to the hospital to meet my first little girl! This year has been a big one for Ava. She welcomed a little sister, and in turn, became a big sister! She has taken it all in stride.showing love and shining through it all! What an amazing little girl she is! Tuesday, April 6, 2010. When is the perfect time for children? Next year is my last year of school, and Brian and I have talked about trying for our first in September. However my husband is concerned and rightly so, that next year is going to be stressful, and maybe it would be wise to wait until January to start trying. I just get irritated! I think I can handle being pregnant and going to school! I mean I know everyone is different, maybe I would have complications? Maybe I can't even get pregnant?

Saturday, January 29, 2011. Butterflies, otters and fish, oh my! We are so lucky to have such a fun museum less than 10 miles from our house. A great way to spend a warm January day! A great butterfly exhibit. A fun, active otter. Snakes (which Ava was not quite so into as we inched closer. When given the opportunity to pet the nice snake, she promptly hid behind me and wouldn't budge) turtles, fish, lizards and oh so much more! Thank you Hight Desert Museum for such a fun afternoon!

Saturday, January 29, 2011. This is what can happen when you turn your back for a few seconds. And yes, I did leave her like that so that I could take a picture (and got flack for it from my husband). I just couldn't resist.she was strapped in - apparently not tight enough!
