Starting on September 1, 2010 I'm challenging myself to change my life. Come along for the ride. Tuesday, November 16, 2010. It is Tuesday, which means I get up and hop on the scale. I lost another pound which brings me to the -10 mark! I ran my 5 mile race this weekend. I kicked butt! November 17, 2010 at 12:48 PM. Look at you go! Starting on September 1, 2010 I'm challenging myself to change my life. Come along for the ride. Tuesday, October 26, 2010. Today is the 8 week mark from my first weigh in. I have lost another 1/2 pound this week which brings my 2 month total to 9 pounds! I am so much more aware of what I am eating. I think the little changes have helped in bigger ways. Starting on September 1, 2010 I'm challenging myself to change my life. Come along for the ride. Thursday, December 9, 2010. I didn't post on Tuesday but I did weigh in and I lost .5 pound. So while I'm down from my gain I am still higher than I was 2 weeks ago. And with that I breath a heavy sigh and say whatever. Why? Come January my one year plan which will still have 8 months left will be kicking into higher gear. I will take better care of me. I have no choice. Monday, December 6, 2010.

On Friday I had a very good, long chat about exercise during an appointment with Dr. A., my trusted MD. We talked about the generally good idea of adding extra steps to our day when we can, especially if our typical day is a very busy one. This is the same good advice that sweet Kare recently gave me here on the blog – thanks honey! Let’s use running as an example.
