This my Paintin Chick! She is one in a series I am developing, so watch for more of these gals as they are completed. Her Sister Chick design is now complete, for the canvas apron project. These designs will be tweaked and re-worked for a variety of surfaces and uses! The apron design will be done this week, and I will post the new photos for you to see! She's been a long time coming, but last year was much busier than I expected! Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Cindy: The Paintin' Chick.

The Paintin' Chick!: Painting a Canvas from the Elizabeth Pruitt Robbins Seminar

Thinking I will add an under layer of a lace edged cloth to break the linen table covering and add a bit more interest. Anddare I say.add to the difficulty! Not being pleased with the open rose at the left,. I painted over it, and it still remains untouched for over a week now. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Need t...

It's All About the Brush! I use Royal Langnickel brushes! The series I prefer is the Aqualon line. I love these brushes, because they have clear handles, so no issues with paint coming off the handle, and hold up very well despite my rough treatment! I've had this particular brush for years! Even with the hard treatment, these brushes just keep on working for me! I took this close up so you could see how the ends of the bristles splay out after using them for my shading technique.
