Tuesday, December 10, 2013. Our Chicago Weekend Trip. On Friday night we took a cab from the airport to our hotel and just relaxed with a drink at the bar downstairs. On Saturday, Stephen and I woke up early to start our sightseeing. First, we walked from our hotel down to Michigan Avenue where all of the action is (shops, restaurants, the bean, etc.). Wednesday, December 4, 2013. Took some time over Thanksgiving break to photograph my aunt, uncle, and their two adorable kids. We met at a local park and I just love how the photos turned out! So awesome having family models to practice my photog skills on. Who knows, maybe with enough practice I could add photographer to my repertoire one day lol. Monday, December 2, 2013. Had a wonderful Thanksgiving surrounded by loved ones this past week. I made these Pecan Pie Croissants with the assistance of my little sister (she did most of the work lol) and oh man, they turned out amaaazing. So good right out of the oven and perfect for a Sunday brunch. I can't wait to make them again! I'm back at home now, writing this while relaxing in bed with the hubs and looking forward to all of the holiday events coming up. My favorite time of year for sure!
