The COPDGene Study has reached its targeted enrollment of 10,000 participants in Phase 1 of the study. All previously enrolled participants are being invited to return for a second study visit five years after their initial study visit. Additional participants, who are non-smokers, are being recruited from the 21 clinical centers for Phase 2 of COPDGene.
