I just want to thank some people that helped me get to where i'm at! First and foremost I want to thank my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ for all he's done for me and all that he's giving me! Without him not much is possible, but with him anything is possible! I would also like to thank Joe Claar who was nice enough to give me a place a few years back to store logs and carve! Without out him I might have hung the saws up and said screw it! But it all worked out in the end!

Hello my name is Shaun M. Coppersmith and i'm the owner/ carver! I first seen the first chainsaw carver when i was about 8-9 that i remember at a show in Cherry Springs Pa! My pap and gram have a camp in Potter Co. so we usually went up about every year! As i became involved in doing pencil drawings i thought maybe i can do that! However i did not pick up a chainsaw and try it til around 2005! But i only messed around here and there and didnt really know much about the tools i would need!

This page here will help you to take care of your one of a kind carved piece of nature! These carvings are mostly carved from wood that is still a little green yet! I usually let the air dry them alittle first, unless you buy a piece at one of my demos on the spot! I then put a few coats of spar urethane on them to seal them up! Does this keep them from cracking? No it doesnt, it doesnt matter what you do to them they will always crack a little! If not they will draw moisture and rot from the bottom up!
