To Wildacres from Marion, NC. Go north on Hwy. 226-221, 6.3 miles from the Hwy. 70 intersection. Take a left on Hwy. 226 toward Spruce Pine. (This intersection has a traffic signal.). Go 11 miles to the intersection of Hwy. 226 and 226A and turn left. Onto 226A. (Road construction has changed this intersection.). Take this road 6.5 miles to the Wildacres sign at Wildacres Road and take this left. Go 11 miles on gravel road to a paved drive on the right leading to Wildacres. Turn left onto the Parkway ramp.

October 31 - November 6. 360 for six nights lodging and 17 meals. We will begin accepting registrations postmarked on July 1. The session will begin on Monday, October 31 with registration beginning at 4:00 and will end after breakfast on Sunday, November 6. You may arrive earlier on Monday afternoon to begin work, but your sleeping rooms will not be available before registration time. Its mission is to broaden the scope of Wildacres’ influence on North Carolina and its citizens for the next 50 years and beyond.
