Mule Deer and Lynx. Copper River Outfitters Mule Deer and Lynx Hunts. Our area consists of three main valleys: the Copper River Valley, the Bulkley River Valley and the Telkwa River Valley. The lower- elevation valleys of the Bulkley and Telkwa rivers are home to some great mule deer hunting. Although the number of deer is not high, the quality of bucks is good. Deer as large as 180-200 have come from this area. Realistic expectations of clients should be deer in the 150-170s. November 15 to 22.

Copper River Outfitters Recommended Gear List. 1 day pack - small to medium size (for goat hunts pack needs to be medium to large size). 1 pair sturdy well broke in hiking boots. 1 pair of rubber boots. 1 sleeping bag (for goat hunts bag needs to be light). For goat hunts only 1 sleeping pad air mattress. 2 boxes of ammunition. 2 sets of long underwear 2 piece. 2 pair hunting pants fleece or wool. 2 hunting shirts fleece or wool. 1 warm hat wool stocking cap etc. 5 pair wool socks.
