Krista's Calamitous Kitchen: February 2013
http://calamitouskitchen.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 3, 2013. As a matter of interest, this is the recipe my childhood friend transcribed for me when we were in junior high. The original copy is the one my dad still cooks from today whenever he makes crepes - of course my parents kept the original version, scrawled on lined paper and with "flour" spelled as "flower." Completely priceless.]. 2 Tbsp. butter, melted. 1/4 tsp. salt. 1/2 tsp. vanilla. 1/4 cup orange juice. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). This Week for Dinner. Stuffed Shells * *.

Saturday, June 1, 2013. Blueberry Streusel Bars with Lemon Creme Filling. I have to copy down this recipe before I lose it (again). I found it in my recipe box, but it was an incomplete recipe. Some careful Googling helped me find it on the Fine Cooking. Website. Needless to say, these are delicious. 8 oz (1 cup) unsalted butter, softened; more for the pan. 13-1/2 oz. (3 cups) all-purpose flour. 1-1/2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats (not quick oats). 1-1/3 cups packed light brown sugar. 1 tsp table salt.

We'd earned those cinnamon rolls. Wow. Best. Cinnamon. Rolls. I-have-ever-tasted. Luckily, she was kind enough to send me the recipe. This one is from Beauty and Bedlam. But I halved it and adjusted some of the ingredients so they would be slightly less than nearly 600 calories per roll! 1) 25 oz. pks. active dry yeast. 2 Tbsp. butter.

Krista's Calamitous Kitchen: Pizza
http://calamitouskitchen.blogspot.com/2010/07/pizza.html
Tuesday, July 27, 2010. I am so shamelessly addicted to pizza. I told Travis once that I really don't like to eat anything unless it is sweet or pizza. I'm like a 9-year-old, you know, when you ask what a 9-year-old's favorite food is. It's always pizza. We seriously make homemade pizza almost weekly. Oh and the huge forest of fresh basil growing on our patio doesn't help much. This makes two 12-inch pizza. S (I use 3/4 of this recipe to make one gigantic pizza. That fills my pizza. 1 Tbsp. olive oil.
