Well, everyone else I know has a recipe blog. Wednesday, February 15, 2012. This is VERY yummy dry by-the-handful or as a cereal with milk. 5-1/2 C. Oats (I used regular old fashioned, but quick would probably still work fine). 1-1/2 C. sliced almonds. 2 Tbs whole wheat flour. 1 tsp Cinnamon (add more if you like it stronger - I just like a little). 2/3 C dry milk. 6 Tbs oil (3oz.). 18 Tbs water (9oz. Examples include: carrots, mushrooms, squash, bell pepper, onion, corn, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, pinched spinach, cooked drained beans, potatoes. Be sure to use clean vegetables, and to drain your vegetables. Water tends to create splattering in the pan while cooking. 3 cups of grated vegetables. Salt and pepper to personal taste.

Thursday, December 4, 2014. To Nourish and Strengthen. As members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints we pray a lot! The best thing I have learned through our whole "trial" is to pray more often and to say thankful prayers. Most of my prayers nowadays involve a lot of thank yous and please bless my husband to heal. Who came up with that? So when we say those words they aren't just lip service they are meaningful to us and we truly pray that they are heard by our Heavenly Father.
