The art of coralie swaney. What's black and white and wooly? I've been experiencing a slow period, creatively speaking, but I've managed to eke out a few paintings. It seems that when my muse is off on holiday, I revert back to my comfort zone and for some inexplicable reason, that seems to be crows and seagulls (with the odd sheep thrown in). The art of coralie swaney. I can't resist a dog in a sweater. I met a lady once with one of those little naked hairless terriers. She explained that he needed a sweater for all seasons; in the Summer so he wouldn't get sunburned and in the Winter to keep warm. He was a nervous little thing, but she allowed me to pet him. He felt like warm rubber. This is a series of 8x8 acrylics. Wonderful job on the dogs, they are all adorable! 09 March, 2010. Those are SO adorable, Coralie . what fun! 02 April, 2010.

Wednesday, November 24, 2010. The milk needs to be very fresh. Warm 4 gal. fresh raw milk. (I warm it to around 86 degrees F.) Keep the milk temp the same (86 degrees) and let rest for 40-45 min. Line a stainess steel colander with cheese cloth. Pour off whey from strainer pot, reserving about 1/3rd of it in the pot. Set strainer over the top of whey in the pot and cover, keeping whey at 97 degrees. for 30 min to 1 hr. ( Lessen the time from 1 hr. for moister cheese). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Wednesday, November 24, 2010. Grandma's Sweet Cream Butter. Warm fresh cream to tepid temp. (I warm it to around 86 degrees). Fill the churn to 3/4 full and churn until the tiny dots of cream gather into lumps. The butter is ready to take out of the churn. Do not over churn or the buttermilk will be mixed back into your butter. It should be lumpy when taken out of the churn. Add canning salt to taste. (about 1 tsp. per pound). Work the salt in thoroughly Press butter into a mold and cool.

Don't remember where I got it. 1 gal raw milk. 1/2 cup cultured buttermilk. 1/4 tsp. liquid rennet. 1/4 c cool water. Warm the milk to 86 degrees F. Thursday, January 15, 2009. I just finished these Victorian ornaments this afternoon. They are really embellished egg gourds. Amazing what you can do with gourds. Fun stuff.
