A product of the Community College system, Corbin received an Associates of Music at Fullerton College. He completed a Bachelor of Music in Composition at the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at California State University, Long Beach. As a bassist, he has studied under Luther Hughes. Roger Shew and Paul Zibits. As a composer he studied with Robin Cox. He currently lives in Redlands, CA working in video post-production, live sound for music festivals and managing a community orchestra.
