And we're all getting older. Saturday, July 25, 2009. It's a beautiful day. The sun is hiding behind the clouds. It's there and it's trying to get out but for now it's hiding. Cherie, J, Elle and I are starting our morning early and heading out to visit some fairy's. There is a family owned Lavender farm quietly tucked away in the woods of Harwich. Http:/ www.capecodlavenderfarm.com. J, Elle and I visited this farm a few years ago and discovered an amazing little secret. This farm has fairies! I was wipe...

And we're all getting older. Saturday, January 10, 2009. During a recent seminar the audience was asked to define what their beliefs are. To right them down to confirm them. Once on paper you're more likely to recall them and feel more committed to them. I thought what a great idea and at the same time what a difficult challenge. I thought it was profound and true and something that was worth remembering and using and writing down. I think it is really that simple for modern society. I don't think I'm a ...

And we're all getting older. Sunday, September 28, 2008. 2008 Grape Harvest Festival. Fall is here and that means it's time to harvest concord grapes in our backyard. Every year that's we've been at this house I've made wine. Well, this year Elle is older and can help so instead of making wine we thought she'd prefer to make grape jelly. Her favorite sandwich is Peanut butter and jelly. All the prep work and cooking and canning. We had 8 jars an sure enough we made exactly that. Sunday, September 21, 2008.

And we're all getting older. Thursday, March 11, 2010. Back to you in the studio. It was a hoot. The girls had a blast doing it and spent some great time together collaborating on the set. Friends and family on Facebook who saw the video got such a kick out of it. Johanna thought to see if she could somehow upload the video to NBC 10. Why not? Ellorie was flipping out with excitement! And we're all getting older. Friday, October 31, 2008. Today was our company Halloween contest. Historically our department does very well in this competition and we didn't want to disappoint this year. After some debate we settled on an idea I had about making us look like block heads. We'd use cardboard boxes as heads. It kinda works well since our department does all the packaging for product. Well, we won the Foxoboro office competition. Woo-Hoo! 50 divided by 12! And we're all getting older. Tuesday, July 26, 2011. Sunday morning. J and Cheire went off to check out the Cedar Spring herb farm. I'm sure it was fun. Ellie and I hung out in the house painting with water colors and playing in the yard. Ellie painted a portrait of me. I painted a lovely lighthouse on the Cape being invaded by aliens. Why be typical? John and Anastacia settled in and what better way to start a vacation than hitting the beach! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

And we're all getting older. Sunday, May 4, 2008. J, Elle and I spent the late morning working on a family painting in my studio for J's new home office. We Busted out the tempera paints and went to town. We all started out doing our own thing on each quadrant of the canvas. Absolute bedlam. The artist's RAGE! Haha We got lost in it for about 30 minutes. until Ellie decided painting her feet and legs were cooler. So when that happens I gotta grab the camera. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

And we're all getting older. Thursday, November 20, 2008. Caricatures for the kids! Today I went and did something that I had always wanted to do. Even as a kid. I spent about an hour at Ellie's school today drawing caricatures of her classmates. Ellie was so proud to have me come in. I enjoyed the entire experience so much. The kids were wonderful and they got such a kick out of being drawn. I goofed around with them and tried to draw a moving target. Nana, Papa and Ellorie. Sunday, November 16, 2008.

And we're all getting older. Sunday, July 24, 2011. I'm not convinced I'm going to blog this vacation. Sadly, I forgot to pack my cable to upload my photos from my camera. This blog just isn't the same without the photos. Not far from our rendezvous point we found a pub/restaurant for some sandwiches. Cherie's cheeseburger club looked Delicious! Tasted even better since i helped her finish it off! We were in search for a local bakery so we could enjoy some yummy treats in the morning. No Luck! Hmmm We ha...
