Corcovado National Park Tours. What should I wear? Most importantly, wear comfortable hiking shoes. You will also want to bring a pair of sandals to cross rivers and streams along the way. It is hot here so wear light hiking clothing. I usually recommend long pants because of the bugs and plants that may irritate the skin. However, you may also wear shorts if you are more comfortable in these. Short sleeve shirts are appropriate. What should I bring? Sunblock for the intense sun. What are the park fees?

Corcovado National Park Tours. Click here to be taken to the Corcovado National Park brochure (in English and Spanish). Two trails lead to Sirena. The most common route is the trail from the La Leona Station (near the village of Carate) to Sirena. A bus (“Collectivo”) leaves Puerto Jimenez for Carate at 6 AM or another option is to take a taxi. There is a 3 km stretch of beach between Carate and La Leona. From there, it is a 17 km hike to Sirena passing through secondary forest. Corcovado – By Plane.
