Non Compos Mentis: May 2009
http://theabby.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
You really should eat your broccoli. Monday, May 11, 2009. Happy 7th Birthday Julia. This is what I have after 7 years of mothering toil. A lot of sweet sprinkled with some serious attitude. I am completely afraid of teenage-hood. I can envision this with some tight jeans and a drivers license. Whoa Nelly! Oh how I wish I could squish her back into the little lisping, curl bedecked self of years past. I love her to pieces. Happy Birthday little Ju-Be! Here is a little photo flash back of birthdays past .

Non Compos Mentis: August 2009
http://theabby.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
You really should eat your broccoli. Thursday, August 20, 2009. The blender exploded all over the kitchen and my hair and my outfit and my semi mopped floor. It is amazing how thoroughly 2 cups of soymilk can cover things. The vacuum spewed rubber scented smoke through out the house as I faux cleaned the floors. The moth population exploded in my kitchen. Where are all these flying dusty covered creatures coming from? I believe that soon things like my bank account will begin imploding. CA, United States.

Non Compos Mentis: December 2008
http://theabby.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
You really should eat your broccoli. Wednesday, December 17, 2008. What is a Canola? I have been baking a bunch lately, ( tis. The season), and I find that I am using a lot of oil. (at 14 grams of fat a tablespoon people! I was reading the bottle to figure out what is in the 4000 grams of fat in my pumpkin bread and all it says is Canola. What is a Canola? My mom read something about canola and warned me of its evils, and that it was from Canada. ooh scary! Oil before I knew what it was. I look just like...

Non Compos Mentis: January 2009
http://theabby.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
You really should eat your broccoli. Tuesday, January 27, 2009. Since Friday I have been alone with the Jack-man. Mark swept up the girlies. And hauled them off to Tahoe to spend some time with his co-workers and some of their families. I was invited, but I opted for a few quiet days with the boy instead. It has been a decision I do not regret. Truffles. What can I say my life is bliss. While they have been gone I have realized that Julia is almost ready to be hired as an after school secretary. I may be...

Friday, April 2, 2010. So, it's official, I'm engaged! And have been for almost a month). Tyson came home from North Carolina, which he neglected to tell me, and then surprised me with a proposal. I kind of knew the proposal was coming, seeing that I had already been planning the wedding, but I was SO shocked that he was home. So Graduation is in the air. I still have a lot I need to get done before I'm done, but it's in like less than 3 weeks! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Oh Dear ...: July 2009
http://jkcordell.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 28, 2009. I haven’t been blogging since my return because life is now much more boring, but I had an eventful Saturday that I thought I would share. Last Saturday Tyson somehow convinced me to hike. With him and some of his friends. I warned him that I’m not really a hiker and I don’t really ever do these sorts of things. I was really nervous about being able to do it and being the slow poke holding everyone up (which I was at some points). We finally made it to the top at around. Once we g...

Non Compos Mentis: September 2008
http://theabby.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
You really should eat your broccoli. Thursday, September 25, 2008. If you look horrible, people will see you. We are moving this week, and my house is a disaster. Today I dressed in my prettiest grandma night gown complete with a lace trimmed collar, light blue and pink check pattern and pearl snaps (thank you Markelle. And a pair of brown gauchos. I was rocking the lace, but the gauchos didn't go so well. I thought "who cares no one will ever see me. I look as good as I feel.". Moving and morning sickne...

Non Compos Mentis: Whoa to my Woe
http://theabby.blogspot.com/2010/08/whoa-to-my-woe.html
You really should eat your broccoli. Sunday, August 1, 2010. Whoa to my Woe. I wrote this in August after my big adventure. It rambles a bit, but I blame it on the medication. The last few weeks have been interesting; dramatic enough to warrant a blog visit. Mark and I left the kids with my wonderful, amazing, perfectly competent little sister and ran away to Lake Powell. The magical place of sandstone and majestic beauty, and almost zero cell service. Hospital emergency room. I thought for sure I ha...

You really should eat your broccoli. Thursday, April 30, 2009. Day 10-a final note. Stella slept, so did everyone else, prayers are answered, the church is true. Wednesday, April 29, 2009. The Addition of Baby Stella: a 10 day re-cap. Day 1: had a baby. No epidural, contractions were WICKED, no stitches, got a private room - -all was well. Day 3:Mark and jack came to take me home, Jack is like a bull in a china shop, Stella is tiny in her carseat. Day 6: had no chocolate, scrubbed the bath tub, mopped th...
