I have always found the human figure to be the most appropriate subject matter for my artistic concerns. However, for some time now, I have been doing works of figures with objects which carry emotional resonance for me. Recently, I have been working on still lifes which incorporate many of the objects I had been using in conjunction with the figure. The intent is to imbue them with a human presence; to make them as “figurative” as the human form itself.
