Sunday, May 31, 2015. This past Thursday was Brendan's birthday! He turned 23. To celebrate, I planned a whole day of fun and delicious food. To start off the morning I made baked french toast! I used a recipe from The Pioneer Woman. And it was amazing. I did however sub whole grain loaf for the sourdough and I used coconut milk instead of regular milk. It turned out spectacular. I topped it with fresh raspberries, powdered sugar and drizzled a tiny bit of maple syrup on top. Yum! It was soo good. Also, ...

Monday, March 30, 2015. They have TONS of awesome wine bottles ranging from $5-$9, seriously how can you beat that? And they always taste amazing! And no, this is not a sponsored post or anything, I just really love Trader Joe's wine haha). Check out these beautiful tulips they had! On Sunday, Brendan and I enjoyed some coffee, breakfast and headed out to grocery shop! We also went hiking at the Breakheart Reservation. In Saugus. Monday, November 16, 2015. Allow me to tease you with photos of the cutest little anise cookies I made this weekend. I made these cookies for my younger sister as part of her birthday present! She just turned 18 and I can't believe it! It's kind of funny that I like these cookies because anise has a very licorice-like flavor and I do not like licorice, but I think they take me back to a simpler time.
