Every New Beginning Comes From Some Other Beginnings End. The Earth was made round so you wouldn't see too far down the road. Saturday, February 12, 2011. In December two friends and I set off for our Christmas Vacation in Ghana, a two day trip on the coast of the Gulf of Guinea. We were lucky and got a direct bus from Bamako to Kumasi, Ghana which took 44 hours. Ghana also has some amazing coast lines. For Christmas we spent three days at a “Green Resort” on a secluded beach. We pass...About a Peace Cor...

Over the weekend some friends of mine went on a peroge ride. Peroges are the flat bottom river boats that take you across the Niger River. Here are some photos from my adventure! Every New Beginning Comes From Some Other Beginnings End. The Earth was made round so you wouldn't see too far down the road. Wednesday, July 28, 2010. When i was back in America i wanted to look for a hammock. I spend a lot of time reading and a nice hammock under a shaddy tree would be nice i thought. Well i just simply ran out of time to look in America, but i knew Mark had one that was made in Guinea. I thought maybe i could find someone who could use his as a model and make me one here. The first th...

Every New Beginning Comes From Some Other Beginnings End. The Earth was made round so you wouldn't see too far down the road. Monday, May 17, 2010. We came upon a massive lake and across the way, ELEPHANTS! We went back over to the lake to see if the elephants were still there, drinking and bathing for the day but they had wondered into the bush already. Once the elephants enter the bush it is too dangerous for us to enter so we sadly had to call it a day and start our long, bumpy trip back to Hombori.

Every New Beginning Comes From Some Other Beginnings End. The Earth was made round so you wouldn't see too far down the road. Wednesday, February 15, 2012. Everyone always dreads the morning commute to work. All of the traffic, waking up early and those crazy people you can’t help but yell at from your car who cut in a swerve. Under the Burkinabe Sun: March 2009
http://jabarbour.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Under the Burkinabe Sun. There was an error in this gadget. 12 Hours, 100Km (60 miles), and Other Chose. I use 'chose' as the title because that means things. Just another part of my combination of French, English and PC slang which I realize makes understanding me sometimes rather complicated. My apologies. Just ask me to clarify. As for photos, I have augmented somewhat so here is the link: http:/ picasaweb.google.com/jabarbour/Guinea. Site, Plows and Windowless Bush Taxis. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
