Posted by eoghan on November 15th, 2008. The Top 8 Tournament is played annually to determine who will compete for the title of Irish Champion. The tournament takes the form of an eight-player league, with each competitor playing a single match against the others. The top four finishers each year automatically qualify for the following year’s Top 8 tournament with the remaining places filled by the top finishers in the Ladder Tournament. Posted by James Hutchinson on February 6th, 2015. The Belfast Open tournament will take place at Belfast Boat Club. In the Stranmillis area of Belfast on the 8th and 9th of August. Belfast Boat club is close to the city centre and thus relatively easy to find. There is ample free car parking space beside the venue. The event will be played in the Main Function Room. You should make an account with either of these to begin with, but you can log in as a guest.
