Where black dirt and red dirt meet. Tuesday, April 3, 2012. I'm sure my readership will plummet since I pulled the plug on my Facebook, but I've certainly been getting a lot more done! For those of you left that check the blog, here are some more recent pics of the kiddo and such. Also, went to New Mexico (visiting the Harding Pegmatite Mine) for a field trip over spring break, where we had a dust storm that shut down the interstate followed by a blizzard that did the same! Where black dirt and red dirt meet. Saturday, June 30, 2012. Shannon and Lisa's Excellent Adventure. Day 1-5 of the trip. Norman, Ok, to Salt Lake City, Ut. Day 1 we drove to Albuquerque and spent the night with Tom and Ivy, then on to Durango, Colorado. This might be my favorite(and is Lisa's favorite) town anywhere. Where black dirt and red dirt meet. Monday, September 26, 2011. The Fair.and the science musuem.and the zoo. So it's fair time in Oklahoma.my favorite festivity! John Milo and I went twice, once with Dad and once with Lily and Lisa. We've also been to the science museum a few times and the zoo. Here are some random pics for our recent outings. After we were done with sampling around Colorado Springs we headed up to my advisor's cabin in Granby, which is 40 miles west of Winter Park. We played golf at the Grand Lake course, it was JM's first full round. He had a ton of fun! The cabin is right outside of Rocky Mountain National Park. We decided to take a drive up there. It was John's first National Park visit! We saw some amazing storms moving across the Kansas plains on the way home...

Tuesday, June 11, 2013. I remember the day I was eating lunch at the mall by myself and Tracie walked in with her friend and sat with me. Yes, I ate alone. Heck, I even went to the movies alone. Seriously people… I could pee alone. Well, with strangers but none of them called me mom and wanted to come in the stall. I enjoyed MY time! I have a 9 year old and a newborn. Where black dirt and red dirt meet. Tuesday, July 14, 2015. New sheriff in town. John Milo is on the bottom in red flannel. Oh, did I mention it was a wet and wild spring all the way to summer. Then we hung out at home a little. We have had a fun summer so far. we have finished some projects around the house and been out and about too. Also we had a great visit from Grandma, Grandpa and Lexi too. I will post all those great adventures in another post, but for now enjoy. Montana prairie dog shoot. Ingomar...
