Monday, November 19, 2012. This month, the challenge at Crafter's Companion. Is to use a favorite color combination. Now, normally, I don't think this is what I would have chosen, but on the day I made the card, this is what called to me. I used the Butterfly Frame stamp from the Stamp It-Australia line. Friday, June 28, 2013. Lime Green and Purple with Stripes. S challenge this week is to use stripes. For Summer of Color week 3. We are to use lime green and purple. So, I made this birthday card to enter in both challenges. The card base and ribbon are limeade ice from Papertrey Ink and the piece with the chevron arrows was done by sponging paint through a Crafter's Workshop stencil. The mat is a deep purple color. Wednesday, November 20, 2013. There's not a lot of stamping in this quick and easy Thanksgiving card. But I used a Tim Holtz flourish stamp to stamp the background with Versamark ink. Then I brushed Perfect Pearls on it to give it a soft, glimmery color. Patterned paper, twine, an image from Twisted Paper and a die cut finish out the card. Tuesday, November 19, 2013. Sunday, September 29, 2013. MFT sketch challenge 143. I made this card for the My Favorite Things sketch challenge and for a swap. The flowers are MFT stamps and dies. I love the soft look they have. Sunday, January 26, 2014. Another card inspired by Online Card Classes. This card's background was created by tapping Versamark ink through a stencil and then embossing with embossing powder. It's topped with an image from Gecko Galz. I'm taking a class on Stencils at Online Card Classes. One of the techniques they demonstrated was layering different colors of ink through stencils. I used one 81/2 by 11 sheet of cardstock and stamped the flower image and managed to use it on 9 cards! Then I made the box also cased using 2 sheets of cardstock.
