A little show and tell (part 2). It's 6am and I'm back in the UK, wind and rain are lashing the windows - talk about a come down! A little show and tell (part 1). So given that I went to the show, I thought I'd tell you all about it. A little light game action: Osaka style! Like a kid in a sweet shop. To view posts written pre-September 2013, click here. Palms Elua Shore Gun SFGS-96MH. First up, let me apologise for the unannounced and unintentional 5 month sabbatical I have just taken from blogging. Angling has had to take a back seat for a few months as house moves and real world issues (.like work! Needed to be resolved. Hopefully I'm now back on track and we can put some diesel in the engine, dust off the cobwebs and get the blogging machine going again. At 9' 6" long and rated up to 42g, the. I'm a proper Cornish exile now! The Shore Gun has beaten ...

The Cornish Angler - Blog

http://cornish-angler.co.uk/blog.html

Last year, and my jaunt east to the Osaka Fishing Show, was an absolute eye opener in terms of understanding the protocols of global product releases in the world of modern lure fishing - I love new innovations backed up with bold and engaging marketing and Japan definitely leads the way on both aspects. Looking forward to the rest of 2015. It has been a very long winter. Palms Elua Shore Gun SFGS-96MH. Palms Elua Rera Kamuy. About Me - The Cornish Angler

http://cornish-angler.co.uk/about-me.html

My name is Matt Jones and as the title says, I herald from Cornwall and I am passionate about angling. I started fishing as a toddler 30 years ago, either out in Falmouth Bay or off any number of local beach and rock marks with my father. I'm now based in Stratford Upon Avon and regularly stalk the banks of the Avon, Leam or Grand Union Canal. I hope you enjoy my offerings, and please feel free to get in touch either through the blog by commenting or via the social media and email buttons up there in the...

Angler's Blog - The Cornish Angler

http://cornish-angler.co.uk/2/post/2012/02/motivational-memories.html

February and March, for me anyway, tend to be the dullest months on the angling calendar. The time of the year where I usually forget the fishing and focus on some of my other extracurricular passions.needlecraft, flower arranging, homebaking and the ilk. This year however there is more than enough going on to drag me out of my mid-winter malaise. Perhaps the most motivating of all are some of the cracking memories from last year, some of which I cobbled together for a bit of a 2011 eulogy.

A Lure and Bass Fishing Blog by Keir Sims. More fun in the SIB, new experiences and learning curves! May 31, 2015. Or maybe it’s just not the right time of year? We will certainly be back to try again and see if we can sus out some of these offshore reefs and banks. Well I guess we couldn’t have asked for a better start or could it be the first cast curse? I much prefer to fish them on a fixed jighead, sacrilege? Maybe but they still catch me fish and after good amount of Pollock and Wrasse my 120 body w...

About me | lurethatfish

https://lurethatfish.com/about-me

A Lure and Bass Fishing Blog by Keir Sims. In 2010 I turned my interest to lure fishing after bait fishing for a few years. The idea of travelling light, being highly mobile and not having to buy bait really appeals to me. Plus I looked at it as a new challenge! Lure fishing has lead me to more and better fish than ever before! I just hope you enjoy the reports and can find some of the information useful that I provide as I learn. Schogsky and Hutch : Fishing Adventures!: August 2013

Schogsky and Hutch : Fishing Adventures! Partners in brine. Freshwater too. No fish is safe! Monday, 26 August 2013. Loch sessions: The big and the crooked. A couple of weekends ago I had a job which involved me heading over to Glasgow for the afternoon, needless to say I took the opportunity to hit the big loch while I was there! Within five minutes of fishing I had my first perch. This 33cm perch fell for a 3" Fish Arrow Flash J Pintail minnow. These loch perch are absolutely fin perfect. The line was ...

Mission Impossible : To catch 100 species of saltwater fish from British waters in 3 years: June 2013

Mission Impossible : To catch 100 species of saltwater fish from British waters in 3 years. Thursday, 13 June 2013. A little update from Jersey. The past month or so in the channel islands can be summed up by four words 'crap weather, good fishing.' We've had to cancel 12 fishing trips in the past fortnight due to strong winds, which although is bad for my savings, means I've had plenty of free time to have a good search around the island for new marks and of course catch a few fish. The last thing I'll ...

Mission Impossible : To catch 100 species of saltwater fish from British waters in 3 years. Sunday, 19 May 2013. April in Jersey (At long last). Well I've been getting a bit behind with my posts of late, a lack of internet access and a busy working schedule being the main reasons for this. Eventually though, I've sorted myself some Wi-Fi and its time to do some catching up. The time soon came though for my first day on the boat. PB smashing Turbot - 8lb 4oz. My first Brill - 6lb dead. Mission Impossible : To catch 100 species of saltwater fish from British waters in 3 years. Sunday, 10 March 2013. Had another 2 day break from work recently and as you'd expect, I made the most of my time off with a bit. ok a lot of fishing. Here's what went down. The first day kicked off with a 6am alarm, waking me with just enough time to get to Holyhead for a charter boat trip I'd booked with mate Steve on-board MyWay. Will hopefully be out with Geth again before I head South for 7 months! With just ...

Mission Impossible : To catch 100 species of saltwater fish from British waters in 3 years. Friday, 18 October 2013. A 4-year wait ends in style : Day 1 back in Wales. Back in North Wales for a long weekend, my choice of mark was heavily reliant on the weather. I would ideally liked to have fished for tope for the whole duration, but a predicted 4ft swell at the mark I wanted to fish meant that it wasn't even worth going to check it was fishable for the first few days. 1st ray of the session. As the tide...

I have always been fascinated by history, especially by the prominent figures whose colourful lives defined medieval British history: Llywelyn ap Iorwerth, his grandson Llywelyn ap Gruffydd, Henry II, Eleanor of Aquitaine, King John, Richard III and Simon de Montfort. I started researching my family tree in 2003, intrigued to discover the people who populate my own family history and through them, where I come from. 02/10/10 - Updated individual pages, more coming soon. 18/12/07 - Pictures added. 15/07/0...
