streetings: collage series
http://streetings.blogspot.com/2014/10/collage.html
In the Urbanscape walls strewn with posters and tags serve as ravines and caverns did for the earliest artists: those who painted on rock and in caves. My "Glyph" figures merge with the panorama, with the ground of tags, posters and scrawls, charge streets with ancient echos. Much of this work is collage: wetting/ tearing/ repositioning parts of posters. (all material ©Janz 2013 / e:driftdiary@yahoo.com). Simple template. Powered by Blogger.
