April 8, 2012. Well, today marks my 36th day on this second adventure in Korea. I haven't been near as good about blogging this time around. I apologize. April 24, 2011. What gets me through. Meet HyunDo, TaeJu, and Isaac. They are 6th graders at Bongmyeong Elementary School. Earlier this week, many of my 6th graders told me they wanted to hang out on Saturday. Uh, ok. What do you want to do? We want to come to your apartment. My apartment is very boring. Reading this as an American I'm thinking oh my goodness! What in the world? These parents let their kids go across town to hang out with a foreigner. in her house? They recorded themselves eating Jello.

May 6, 2012. I said I was going to be better about blogging, but it's not working so well. "Blogger" is a blocked website at my school so I can't update during my free time there. Once the weekends arrive, I'm usually too busy. Here's the latest:. Spring has come and gone. It lasted about two weeks. It was a beautiful, but now we are quickly heading towards summer. June 27, 2011. Lately life has been. I love it then I hate it. I hate it then I love it. I can't seem to find a happy medium here in Korea. There are things that I will never quite adapt to:. The "hurry up and wait" lifestyle Koreans seem to thrive on. Then there are things that I have thoroughly embraced:. Hugging my students without a fear of breaking some sexual harassment law. I have narrowed it down to three options:. Go home for a semester then come back to Korea at the beginning of 2012.

I need lessons on applying sunscreen. Posted in A Healthier Me! Well I fell behind in the photo a day challenge and gave up. Surprise surprise! Saturday, my friend Karen and I went swimming. It was good to have girl time. I mostly hang out with my guy friends, all of my girl friends are either married or they don’t live here… I had been needing girl time! Posted in About me. 8221; “Why are they freaking out? We never get storms” etc. Not 10 minutes after we got back to Zach’s the storm hit us. It was INSANE! It seriously looked like a hurricane outside. The trees looked like they were going to bend in half. It poured, hailed etc. I’m glad we left the park when we did! My sister, Kayla, said their power was out for awhile. We lost power at Zach’s house but it came right back on. My big toe hurts so bad now, It hurts to wear shoes! June Photo A day.
