Sunday, November 4, 2012. Okay, so tonight I spent over 30 minutes fighting monsters and snakes and Power Rangers (? W/ my amazing 3 year old. Oh, and "mad guys". :) He has this completely incredible imagination lately. He taught me the proper way to hold a ninja turtle sword. And we had a dance party later while watching Madagascar 3. Saturday, August 25, 2012. Daycare went with Forever Memories this year for the kids' "school" pics. They specialize in vintage photography. Sunday, August 12, 2012. Avery turned five months old last week! Seems like a lot to catch up on. I've been attempting this post for about 3 weeks now. :). Friday, July 20, 2012. It's been a stressful week/month and full of changes. First off, oh Avery. Why won't you sleep? UGH She's a cat-napper! Monday, March 4, 2013. I'm glad that the month is over. I did manage to get some pretty good snuggles with Avery though. Although not the way I'd like to get them! Besides all of the sickness though, the kids continue growing like weeds! I can't believe my baby is going to be ONE tomorrow! Every mom thinks her kid is the smartest ever. Tuesday, February 5, 2013. Avery's 11 months old today! She's crazy and wild and likes to yell to get attention. She gets into everything. She's in 24 month clothing and eating table food. She just weaned down to 3 bottles a day. She gave up her afternoon bottle this past weekend. :) She loves her brother and her pacis (uh oh! Getting harder to get pictures of her sitting still. And she was very grumpy tonight. :) But we did our best. :) Looks like that elephant's getting smaller. View my complete profile.

THE BLAND FAMILY: One Year Checkup

Friday, March 8, 2013. Avery went to the doctor on Thursday for her one year checkup. She's certainly not shrinking! Dr Boley said she looks great (other than red ear). No more restrictions on food. Can turn around car seat (although the new recommendation is two years). Wean off bottles. Start whole milk. Think about weaning paci. Lots of shots. :) That about sums it up! She was so brave with her shots. She cried of course, but was fine once I picked her up. She's a tough little girl. My baby is ONE!

Thursday, April 26, 2012. The weeks are flying by! I had every intention of posting on the same night each week (ideally Mondays) but it's just not happening. :) Oh well. I'm not too late this week.
