The Clueless Gourmet: Need to borrow a couple of dozen cups of sugar?
http://cluelessgourmet.blogspot.com/2009/01/need-to-borrow-couple-of-dozen-cups-of.html
Saturday, January 31, 2009. Need to borrow a couple of dozen cups of sugar? I think I'll start this blog off by demonstrating where the 'clueless' in 'The Clueless Gourmet' comes from. . I rarely bake. The oven in my apartment cooks majorly unevenly, and I gave up on trying long ago. Only once in a while does something come out as passable, so I avoid wasting my time and money whenever possible. . I get home and begin to put it away and find that I already had . . . . The Clueless Gourmet is not just...

Friday, April 24, 2009. We have the music cranked (Classic Rewind-70s and 80s rock, perfect for today) and I'm cleaning and puttering, and Lila is playing "Africa". It's a nice day. And Justin gets home tomorrow.finally! PS The band-aid on her head is just for show. She loves putting band-aids there. Weirdo. ;). Saturday, April 18, 2009. Can seedlings feel smug? Cook Street School of Fine Cooking in Denver, CO is run terribly, and I would recommend that you stay far away from them! Cancel my enrollment in the Steak and Scotch Class. Ugh In conclusion, Cook Street does NOT have their crap together, and I would recommend that you stay far far away from Cook Street School of Fine Cooking in Denver. Tuesday, October 21, 2008. Mama, I drew a happy face! Me: "Really, baby? Hold on, I'm coming over.". Bearface: "I drew hair! Here is his smile! That is so good! Let me go get my camera so I can take a picture.". Monday, October 20, 2008. Hurry up and wait. Well, I did it! This afternoon, I proudly cast my vote for our next president, Barack Obama. Wednesday, October 7, 2009. A few hikes with my girl. Lila and I went on a few short hikes this week (1.6 miles and 1.8 miles, respectively) to try and enjoy the last of this beautiful fall weather! I love rain and snow, but these warm fall days have been so lovely. I looked closer and it was a baby rattlesnake! It was curled up, sunning itself on the rock. Whoa! Anyway, here are some picture highlights from our adventures this week:. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. A few months ago...

Snapshots and Pieces: July 2008

Sunday, July 27, 2008. The Olympics are coming, the Olympics are coming! Poor Justin. I'm sure he's already dreading it. Not that he hates the Olympics.I'm sure he likes them just fine. What he does dread is having 290384323 hours of Olympics' coverage on our DVR. It's gonna be worse than when a tennis Grand Slam is on (he thought Wimbledon lasted a month, I kid you not, because of how much tennis I watched). I, however, am super duper excited! I love the Olympics. Bring it on! Friday, July 25, 2008.

Tuesday, August 25, 2009. Peter Rabbit Organics Review. A few weeks ago, I got the opportunity to review Peter Rabbit Organics Fruit Pouches. I'd been hearing/reading about them for awhile, and was excited to get the chance to try the product for myself. First, let me share with you a little about this U.K.-based company. From their website:. PR Organics is a small, privately-owned company; we are passionate about what we do and we have a lot of fun working together. And now, onto the fruit pouches!

Tuesday, July 14, 2009. What's On Your Nightstand? This is my first time participating in What's On Your Nightstand, and I'm pretty late (everyone else did theirs in June). But I'm here! I'm reading 2 historical nonfictions right now, and am loving one and think the other is okay. The first is The Devil In The White City. I'll be sad when this one is over. The second book I'm reading right now is The Suspicions of Mr. Whicher. So, what's on your nightstand? Friday, July 10, 2009. Recently, someone made a...

Monday, May 25, 2009. Of Tennis and Fire. I'm loving my French Open coverage.each year, TV tennis coverage gets better and better. And the Tennis HD channel? Anyone that knows me knows how crazy I am about tennis. Poor Justin doesn't get get any TV time when tennis is on. Last year, Lila already knew what the red French clay is called (terre battue). I watch it obsessively, I tells ya! Nice one, douche. Why does he have that little factoid stored in his brain, anyway? Where was I going with all of this?
