Austin and I had our year and a half anniversary on Saturday and even though it's pretty insignificant, it got me thinking about some of the reasons why I still like this guy. Thank you for all the AMAZING memories 11. Here are some of my favorites. We rang in 2011. We sat in the back. We went back in time. We celebrated Half Christmas. We loved each other. Saturday, December 25, 2010. So given my ability to relate, but not feel; sympathize, but not empathize, does that entirely mean I'm not an empath? I think it comes down to how you define a few things. Unfortunately, it also depends a lot of how I see myself in the context of others, which is difficult to peg down because it's a vision jaded with the bias of my self-perception and the fact that I am many different sides of myself around many different people. Doesn't sound like me. So am I an empath?
