Wednesday, September 28, 2005. Surfing in Costa Rica. Though. It's a small little surf town with awesome waves. While Costa Rica is a safe country you do need to be careful, especially if it's obvious you're not from around there. There is a little bit of a drug problem in this area so if anyone asks you if you want "coca" say no!
